BOOK REVIEW:MOTIVATIONAL MOMENTS I

I have always loved Mufti Menk, loved all his lectures and had the privilege of attending his seminars in Kenya. When someone close to my heart gifted me His Book, I was so delighted to finally have his motivational quotes in a hard copy.

Mufti Menk is a prominent Islamic scholar. His lectures and quotes have been touching so many lives. He's also famously known for his humor when delivering a lecture.

He launched his book Motivational Moments in 2009 due to the high demand of his quotes from his fans all over the world.

Motivational Moments has 500 quotes. These quotes are divided into 10 chapters. The chapters include; Patience, Repentance, Sadness, Career, Forgiveness, Sincerity, Love, Kindness, Loyalty and Self-worth.

His words instill hope and patience. Each quote delivers a powerful message. The quotes are printed on glossy pages with beautiful images of nature, which is very attractive to the eyes of the reader. The white hardcover makes the whole book spectacular. A perfect gift for a loved one I must say.

ISNT IT BEAUTIFUL?

Since I love reading motivational quotes, this book has won my heart. It always lifts my spirits high. Definitely my favorite.

Throughout the book, Mufti Menk has emphasized on the need of being positive and obedient towards Allah despite what life throws at you, despite the hurdles that strike you based on life, love, career and etc. He also emphasizes on the need of trusting Allah and depending on him fully. His messages are simple and clear.

Some of my favorite quotes from the book are;

Sadness ”who knows the pain and tears a smile can hide except the Almighty. What is shown to the world is just a glimpse. Spill your sorrow to him.”

Repentance “How many of us spend sleepless nights feeling hopeless about our problems? Remember what the Almighty says “Call on me, I will respond”

Patience “In the end, you don’t need anyone but the Almighty, whatever you are going through have patience. Trust him. Everything will turn out fine.

Recommending to everyone looking for motivation, going through a hard time and simply finding contentment in life.
